Ethan says, "Thank you Miss Vickie"...he had a great birthday...it was a "Harry Potter" kind of day!

Thank you Vickie, the background is one of the little cards in a set that I got at a very sweet scrapbook shop and the photo of Ethan and I, on the day he was born sits on my mantel...what a sweet little baby he was. Thank you for the visit here.

I agree with Suzanne! You do have a beautiful blog! And I love that photograph of your grandbaby! Priceless. My two little granddaughters are 7 and 8 now, and they are the joy of my life.

I hadn't posted their pics on my blog much, but did when we had the Carnival of Scrapbooking challenge, and here is the link so you can see my two sweethearts: http://www.familytreewriter.com/2010/08/carnival-of-genealogy-scrapbooking-my-family-history-one-page-at-a-time/

They are somewhere around half African-American. I say somewhere around, because my son-in-law's mom said they were part Irish, and part Native American as well as having other Caucasian ancestry.
