I was born in Augsburg, Germany, grew up in Northern California. My ancestors are German, English and Scottish . . . settled in Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina and Maryland...all rich in history and waiting for me to discover and share our story.
Ethan says, "Thank you Miss Vickie"...he had a great birthday...it was a "Harry Potter" kind of day!
Thank you Vickie, the background is one of the little cards in a set that I got at a very sweet scrapbook shop and the photo of Ethan and I, on the day he was born sits on my mantel...what a sweet little baby he was. Thank you for the visit here.
I agree with Suzanne! You do have a beautiful blog! And I love that photograph of your grandbaby! Priceless. My two little granddaughters are 7 and 8 now, and they are the joy of my life.

They are somewhere around half African-American. I say somewhere around, because my son-in-law's mom said they were part Irish, and part Native American as well as having other Caucasian ancestry.
